Bus   Transportation  Information
It is each sponsor's responsibility to register a child who will need bus transportation for every school year. Transportation is administered by PACTMO. The PACTMO office is located at Camp Zama in Building 102, Rm. 101A. Normal registration hours are from 0730-1600 daily Monday through Friday. Due to duty schedules, the PACTMO Office recommends that you call their office at 263-4151 rather than just "walking in."

Before renting or leasing off-base housing, sponsors should contact the PACTMO office to ascertain the area's School Bus Zone and distance from the desired home to the nearest bus stop.

All children who will be riding a bus must accompany their sponsor to the PACTMO office to have individual pictures taken for a bus pass. If a child will attend school in Japan for more than one school year sponsors must re-new each school bus pass on a school year to school year basis along with re-registration.

Please ensure that our school's registrar signs each child's registration form in SECTION lll prior to going to the transportation office for bus passes.
